Maryam Kamali Nezhad
Maryam Kamali Nezhad received her doctorate in hydraulics-hydrology from Grenoble Polytechnic Institute (INPG) engineering school in France and has been a hydraulic engineer since 1996. She completed her doctoral internship at the Institut national de la recherche scientifique (INRS) in Quebec City and worked at the Centre d'Expertise Hydrique du Québec (CEHQ).
Highly knowledgeable about structural issues, Maryam taught in the Civil Engineering and Mining departments of École Polytechnique de Montréal from 2010 to 2018 and has been working at Hydro-Québec for over 15 years (since 2009). Over the course of her professional career, she has acquired more than twenty-seven (27) years of experience in various aspects of engineering, enabling her to work in varied, important, and original situations. Keen to pass on her knowledge and expertise, she taught in the Department of Civil, Geological, and Mining Engineering (CGM) at École Polytechnique de Montréal from 2010 to 2018.
