Mahesh Acharya
Mahesh Acharya serves as a Clean Energy Postdoctoral Research Associate for Energy and Water Systems Analysis group within the Energy and Environment Science & Technology (EES&T) Directorate at the Idaho National Laboratory (INL). He earned his Ph.D. in Engineering and Applied Science from Idaho State University in 2023. He is actively engaged in a wide range of projects critical to the missions of both INL and the Department of Energy (DOE). These projects actively support INL’s initiatives in various renewable energy - hydropower, wind, nuclear, marine, geothermal energy. Beyond these areas, his research areas also encompass structural and earthquake engineering, bridge engineering, concrete materials, large-scale testing, Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
