Joel Herm is a polymath who became interested in hydro when he discovered a 130-year-old hydro system on his upstate NY property. In bringing the system back to life, he became a recognized expert and won a $1M NYSERDA contract to develop microhydro statewide. Joel formed Current Hydro as a practical and profitable solution to both address critical issues of climate change while developing an investment grade portfolio of projects.
